I wonder if the forums are now going to be down until release....
Their community communications leave a lot to be desired and I hope this isn't a sign of things to come or a hidden warning......

The forums and site are up, but are having trouble ( I wold assume because of a mass amount of people trying to get on)

I suppose they've got bigger fish to fry atm than keeping the forums up as a priority! I am afraid this is one of the down sides of going it alone in this business. I have been in this game (folowing the development of new MMO's) for 10 years now and never have I known one as bad as this with communication and reliability of it's main communication center (the forums) If DF turns out to be an amazing game with an amazing launch then they can be forgiven as that woiuld be enough to justify the issues they are having with the forums. If it's not on the other hand then I fear for the short future of DF. A couple of interesting things to note, the main site, the noob comic and the forums are all on the same server. They said they were suffering from a DOS attack and were trying to sort it. Well the Noob and main site are now fine which suggests the DOS issue has been fixed. I fear they have taken the forums down because there are no paid employees available to moderate what is being said. I hope I am wrong. |

My clan is one person away from the desired minimal pre-release size! I have to advertise! Gah, the website problems are affecting my clan in a most negative way. I hope they are up soon.

Just my clan sets milestones in our recruiting. every recruiting period we have a goal. Also we had a pre-release goal - 50 minimum. At the moment we have 49 people, and sinece we have that much our pre-release goal matches the milestone. So I have to be recruiting that one more person. But forumfall is down. It is not a Darkfall perferred minimal size, it's just a Sanguis Argentum thing. Archmage Isse-Istar. |
